Arsenal vs Watford Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Arsenal 2019-20

Arsenal end a bitterly disappointing Premier League campaign by welcoming Watford to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Hornets currently occupy the final relegation spot and are in for a nervous final day as they need to better Aston Villa's result at West Ham to guarantee survival.

Only the two Manchester clubs and Liverpool have lost fewer home games than the Gunners this season and a 10th league win at the Emirates for Arteta's men ispriced at 9/10 (1.90) with bet365.

Watfordhave won just two of their 18 matches on the road, the last of which came back in January, and Hayden Mullins' team are available at 13/5 (3.60) with the draw at 14/5 (3.80).

The Gunners have a number of players who have been sidelined for a while, with Pablo Mari, Gabriel Martinelli, Bernd Leno and Calum Chambers all missing.Shkodran Mustafi, Mesut Ozil and Reiss Nelson are doubtful.

Watford have Gerard Deulofeu and Daryl Janmaat as long-term absentees, while Isaac Success is also likely to be missing.

It is hard to see the Hornets claiming the win that could guarantee their safety, even with their opponents having little to play for in the final game of the league campaign.

The Hertfordshire side have claimed just two points on the road against top 10 opponents this season, while Arsenal have been extremely strong at home against teams towards the bottom of the table.

The likes of Norwich, Newcastle, West Ham, Aston Villa and Bournemouth have all been beaten at the Emirates this term and while the Gunners might not have too much riding on the game, they will want to finish the season as strongly as possible ahead of the FA Cup final.

The price for a home win should appeal, especially considering how poor Watford's scoring record on the road has been.

Just 12 goals from 18 matches away from home is the second lowest total in the division and backing the Gunners at 9/10 (1.90) looks an attractive option.

Odds correct at the time of writing. Please gamble responsibly.
